After a lengthy wait, Sean Crowe was deemed elected on the first count in DSW, retaining his seat. He described the win as a “huge endorsement for change”. Crowe received 20,077 votes (29.7% first preference) in Dublin South West, smashing the quota of 11,261.
His surplus of 8,816 is now being distributed. Expected to take some time. Lots of discussion around where Deputy’s Crowe’s surplus will go, Paul Murphy expected to gain here.
